COVID19 Rescheduling Policy: Book With Confidence! No Penalty For Rescheduling As Many Times As Necessary
You’ve probably heard about one of the world’s most famous painters, Vincent Van Gogh. But what do you actually know about this Dutch artist? We’ll introduce you to the man behind the famous sunflowers and self-portraits on this intimate, small group tour. Learn about him through his iconic paintings of people eating potatoes and of his own bedroom, or maybe his “Wheat field with Crows” or “Yellow House.” We will visit the world’s largest collection of Van Gogh’s works to learn about his turbulent life stretching from his days in Holland to his dramatic ending in France. And yes, don’t worry, we’ll discuss that whole ear incident.
Then after a break for lunch, we’ll keep it as dignified and serious as possible as we discuss the legal drug vendors, the leather neighborhood, and the smoky “coffee shops” that attract people from around the world. Cast away your guilt and judgement, and let’s discuss the etiquette and laws that will allow you to appreciate this district to its fullest after the tour. Our professional guides will lead you through the salacious streets and coffee shops of the Red Light District, following in the footsteps of Van Gogh himself.

This tour was fantastic because our guide, Melissa, was passionate and knowledgeable. Her English was perfect and she asked us our preferences modeling the tour to our requests. The information was interesting and relevant. The history of the red light district and the architecture insights were excellent. I could not recommend this tour more if you are lucky enough to book Melissa as your tour guide.
We had a Fantastic tour. Our guide, Eve, was knowledgable and personable and pitched the tour well to our interests. We had a fabulous day!
After a sunny cruise on the Rhine with Viking we visited Amsterdam for two rainy days. One of the booked events was a guided tour of the Van Gogh Museum and a walking tour of the Red LIght district. Our guide Llaria was a highly knowledgeable art historian with a very pleasant and enthusiastic personality. While touring the museum with us and one other couple, she spun a fascinating story of Vincent Van Gogh and his short, tragic but highly productive life. The tour could not have been better. After stopping for a glass of wine at the museum cafe, my wife and I finished the afternoon with a private guided tour of the Red Light district with Llaria. Again, the tour could not have been better. Llaria was flexible, pleasant and anxious to tailor the experience to our interest and needs. I would highly recommend this format and particularly Llaria.
We took a number of tours Amsterdam walking tour, the Van Ghog museum and the red light district with Antoine and Melissa for guides. We learned a lot about the city incredibly rich history took really nice strolls alongside the street canals and historic building. Highly recommend it!
The guides were very experienced and helpful. They went out of their way ensuring that we had a good time. Amsterdam's wind chill was quite cold during our time there, yet the experience was worth it. The tour was very punctual, which was very professional as well.
